# Equality

Let's look at equality.

There are two operators for this:

• == which checks the values only
• === which checks both the values and types

let nr = 1;
console.log(nr == 1);   // true
console.log(nr == '1')  // true
console.log(nr === 1);  // true
console.log(nr === '1') // false
